Survey of the characteristics of hydrodynamic aquifers of the river basin of Rio Anil, São Luis - MA
Abstract
Groundwater has been used since the dawn of civilization, and for natural reasons it has a good quality, which is attractive to the user. In addition, for a thorough knowledge of the hydrogeological conditions of a region, it is necessary to know its hydrodynamic properties. In this way, the objective of the work was to survey the hydrodynamic characteristics of the Anil river basin, the hypothetical-deductive theoretical-methodological approach to its development. From the 30 wells in the database of wells granted by the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources - SEMA, it was possible to elaborate the maps of depth isohyet, static and dynamic levels of groundwater, lowering and flow of the basin, among other analyzes of hydrodynamic parameters. The results obtained through the analysis of the data, stand out the averages: Depth 76.99 m, Static Level 16.80 m, Dynamic Level 28.52 m, Water Level 4.26 m, Lowering 11.72 m, Flow 8,08 m³/h. It is recommended the implementation of public policies aimed at preserving the aquifer recharge areas in the Anil river basin and it is emphasized that the basin is heavily waterproofed by several buildings, mainly near the river banks, therefore the control and management of this water body is of fundamental importance for the maintenance of quality water reserves.
