The Águas Subterrâneas Journal is a publication of the Brazilian Association of Groundwater (ABAS), dedicated to disseminating original and unpublished scientific articles on hydrogeology and related topics.
Accepted and finalized papers are published on a continuous basis, organized within an annual volume, subdivided into multiple issues, each containing up to 10 papers.
The Águas Subterrâneas Journal is a QUALIS-rated national and international journal and does not charge authors any fees for submission or publication.
DISCLAIMER: The Proceedings Supplements (from congresses and technical meetings) published here are included in the Groundwater Journal solely as a courtesy by the editors. Conference proceedings should be cited as such, without reference to this journal. The Groundwater Journal is not responsible for the content published in these sections.
All individuals who register with the Águas Subterrâneas Journal automatically become ABAS members for free, gaining access to discounts on events and technical materials. Additionally, they also become affiliated members of the Brazilian Chapter of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), with access to discounts on international IAH events and other offers.
Journal access remains free and does not require registration.
